GCP Vertex AI Configuration

This section explains how to add and configure a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Vertex AI model in AskSenseOps.

Prerequisites

Before configuring the model, ensure that you have:

• A Google Cloud project with Vertex AI access.
• The Project ID of the Google Cloud project.
• The location where the Vertex AI model is available.
• A service account JSON credential for authentication.

Adding a GCP Vertex AI Model

1. Open AskSenseOps.
2. Navigate to the model configuration section.
3. Click Add Model.
4. Enter the model details described below.
5. Test the configuration and save the model.

Basic Info

Field	Description	Required
Display Name	Enter a name to identify the model in AskSenseOps.	Yes
Provider	Select GCP Vertex AI.	Yes

Credentials

Project ID	Enter the ID of the Google Cloud project containing the Vertex AI model.	Yes
Location	Enter the Google Cloud region where the model is available, such as us-central1.	Yes
Service Account JSON	Provide the service account credentials in JSON format.	Not marked as required in the interface

Model Configuration

Testing and Saving the Model

After entering the configuration details:

1. Review the display name, project ID, location, service account credentials, and model identifier.
2. Click Test to verify the configuration.
3. If the test succeeds, click Save Model to save the configuration.

If the test fails, verify the Project ID, location, model identifier, and service account credentials.
