Extension Installation

The AskSenseOps Qlik Sense Extension allows you to access AskSenseOps functionality within Qlik Sense. Before importing the extension through the Qlik Management Console (QMC), configure the AskSenseOps server URL in the extension's configuration file.

Installation

Step 1: Obtain the Extension Build

Obtain the AskSenseOps Extension build file and extract it to a location accessible on the machine from which you manage the Qlik Management Console (QMC).

Step 2: Configure the AskSenseOps URL

Before importing the extension, update its configuration file to point to your AskSenseOps server.

  1. Open the extracted AskSenseOps Extension build folder.
  2. Locate and open the configuration file.
  3. Find the apiBaseUrl setting.
  4. Set apiBaseUrl to the URL of your AskSenseOps server.
  5. Save the configuration file.

Ensure that the URL points to the AskSenseOps server that the Qlik Sense environment can access.

Step 3: Import the Extension into Qlik Sense

  1. Open the Qlik Management Console (QMC).
  2. Navigate to Extensions.
  3. Click Import to import a new extension.
  4. Select the configured AskSenseOps Extension build file.
  5. Complete the import process.

Wait for the extension import to finish.

Step 4: Verify the Installation

Once the import is complete, the AskSenseOps Extension is available in Qlik Sense.

  1. Open a Qlik Sense app.
  2. Check that the AskSenseOps Extension is available for use.
  3. Add the extension to your app as required.

The AskSenseOps Extension is now installed in Qlik Sense and configured to connect to your AskSenseOps server.
