Add Project
This guide provides detailed instructions for creating a project within the Code Management platform. Typically initiated by managers, the project creation process is straightforward and essential for organizing and managing your development efforts. This guide offers a simple step-by-step process to help with this task.
Projects can be added to Code Management in two ways:
Manual Project creation steps
Step 1: Upon logging into Code Management, navigate to the Settings section.
Step 2: Within the settings, locate the Projects page. If you are creating your first project, you'll find a prominent button labeled Create New at the center.
- If projects already exist, click the Create New button at the top right corner to initiate the creation of a new project.
Step 3: Click on Create New to trigger a panel to slide in from the right. Input essential project details: project name, description, and select the users from the user list to assign them to the project.
Step 4: If you need to make adjustments, simply remove assigned users by clicking on the delete icon next to their name. You can also designate developers as managers by toggling the manager option next to their name.
Step 5: Once all details are entered, click Create Project to finalize the process. Your project is now created and ready to go. It can be viewed on the projects page.

Bulk projects can be added from Qlik Enterprise to Code Management using Configure Project Sync.

- Assign Roles: Assign condition-based roles to users with property selection as Attribute or Custom property.

You can select user attributes or custom properties while adding the details.

Managing Projects
Your projects will be organized in the projects table, containing all pertinent details: project name, description, assigned repositories, creator's name, and actions.
Within this table, managers can:
- Edit Project Details: Modify project specifics directly from the table.
- Delete Projects: Remove projects if necessary.
