Context

Public Risk Innovation, Solutions, and Management (PRISM) is a member-directed insurance risk-sharing pool. They offer innovative risk management solutions to help public entities proactively control losses and prepare for different exposures.

PRISM aimed to enrich its risk management framework and unlock the full potential of analytics, run by Qlik Sense across internal and partner teams. While each team had its own daily reporting needs, the objective was to bring users together and enable self-service to harness better insights. This would help them improve risk profiling, add more services for customers and stay competitive.

Problem

PRISM users had custom pixel reporting needs to analyse data on a daily basis. Existing Qlik Sense dashboards or manual reporting mechanisms had severe limitations and siloed. Unifying all the reporting needs and seamlessly allowing self-service for users required extensive coding and maintenance efforts,

To address this, PRISM sought seamless Qlik Sense integration within a web portal where a list of reports can be setup and accessed on-the-fly. Users needed the ability to design their own reports, explore dynamic filtering options, and other custom styling and scheduling options. A scalable framework was essential to eliminate manual interventions, optimize risk sharing and make best use of the risk data accessible for them.

Solution

PRISM leveraged SenseOps UI Builder, a no-code Qlik Sense embedding and reporting solution, to create a dynamic portal experience with rich features for reports design and management. This allowed users to create, generate and schedule pixel-perfect reports in a matter of minutes. The seamless integration of Qlik Sense within PRISM’s portal paved the way for improved risk assessments and daily sales analysis.
